So as Jenn would tell you…I love to talk and to tell stories. And yes, I realize that just maybe I sometimes pack a two minute story into ten or twelve minutes. I will blame this on being a visual person and trying to convey the full experience.
This trip to San Diego was a lot of fun, and we got a lot of great pictures, so I figured that this one time, I would let the pictures do the talking. As you will see, I probably talk too much with pictures too…

After a cross-country flight with a high school cheerleading team, the University of Texas women’s golf team, and a Sherwin Williams convention, I was glad to meet up with Jenn at the airport. Jenn said it best…”if only Nolin was as well-behaved in church as he is on mass transit”.
This quote speaks volumes to the stage we are currently in. In church Nolin loves to shout Hallelujah and talk to people around us during every quite moment. With traveling, Nolin loves all things that move and is much more engaged. I guess this is pretty common for boys his age, although I am not sure they all wake up first thing in the morning concerned for the whereabouts of trains and trolleys?! Read more…
The curtains opened as a 7th grader from Jenn’s school stepped out and began singing a slow song. Nolin took a few steps forward and looked back at us as if to say “catch me if you can“. I was in auto pilot mode as I took a step forward to try and cut him of at the pass. Then the volume increased as the kick drum came in and the middle schooler started singing “make the world your dance floor“.
