Change in plans. Due to some last-minute scheduling conflicts, I had to change my flight home. I am now leaving tonight instead of tomorrow and making a real trip out of it.
This change in my schedule, now allows me to fly to Fort Lauderdale and meet Jenn when she arrives at the ferry port and drive home with both she and Nolin. This way she wont have to make the middle of the night trip solo. Continue reading »

Today Nolin left for his next adventure and the 5th stamp on his passport…Freeport Bahamas.
I am leaving for Baltimore on a work trip next week, so Jenn decided that they would meet our friends Lee & Kelly in the Bahamas. To make the trip even more fun for Nolin, they took a ferry boat.
This meant a 3:30am departure time in order to make the 4 hour drive to the port. Continue reading »

Father’s Day 2012, was a great day and a great weekend (minus Nolin’s earlier altercation with the sidewalk to start it off).
We woke up on Sunday morning and Nolin greeted my with a hug and “Happy Father’s Day Daddy!”. After some play time with the train tracks, we got the car packed up and headed to the beach. Continue reading »

I think I need to start watching my back because I am afraid that Jenn may be trying to kill me. In the last 3.5 days I have gone completely meatless. Teresa would never let this happen.
Last night we had our first taste of meat…crock pot chicken. Unfortunately I had eaten too much salad before hand and only ate one drumstick (and it wasn’t even deep-fried in Colonel Sanders secret recipe).
Who am I? And what is happening to me? If I keep this up I am afraid that my hair may start growing out and I will have to dust off my birkenstocks and my cords. Nolin and Jenn love it because they could exist solely on fruit, vegetables and pasta. If I don’t start getting more meat in my diet, I could look like this… Continue reading »
