In the blink of an eye, ten years has already passed by. To say that life has been an amazing adventure and ride would be an understatement. You see the world differently, and it is the greatest joy to be able to experience it with you.
Not to say there are not times when the two of us drive each other crazy, but there is one thing that I will always know, me & you will always be the very best of friends.
This year has been especially fun having the opportunity to really share music with you and start playing together. I can only say that when I grow up, I want to be as good as you are now.
This year has certainly been challenging with the introduction of a global pandemic, isolation via a quarantine, and all of the sudden having daddy be your (super amazing) teacher but you have faced that challenge with a smile (and a few grunts). However, I have to say that there has been a part of me that has been grateful for the slowdown and the tiny bubble that this has placed around our family. It has given your mom & I the chance to hold on to you all a little longer.
Nolin, we had some really big plans to celebrate your 10th birthday, but hopefully our (slightly modified) tiny plans will make for a really big day. We love you more than you will ever know, and thank you for being you!
